About the Dairy Alliance

The Dairy Alliance is a Penn State Cooperative Extension initiative. Our mission is to enhance the economic development of the Pennsylvania dairy industry through leadership and integrated education.

To accomplish this mission, the Dairy Alliance focuses its educational efforts in human resource management, business management, information management, nutrient management, and workforce development. These efforts compliment ongoing Cooperative Extension efforts as, together, we impact the economic viability and quality of life of the dairy industry throughout Pennsylvania.

Collaborative efforts between Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Agricultural Sciences, Penn State Extension and Outreach, agribusiness, and producers allows for training of dairy employees, managers and agribusiness advisors. By expanding the skills of those involved in Pennsylvania's dairy industry, the entire industry is gaining a competitive advantage in our global markets.
