Your future herd is only as good as today's heifers, so manage them well. This workshop, developed for dairy producers and their employees, explores all factors you need to consider to effectively and efficiently manage a successful heifer program. The emphasis is on animal well-being as you learn to manage the following:
- Heifer nutrition and management
- Health and vaccination programs
- Reproduction and synchronization
- Housing systems
