Penn State Dairy Data Analysis Tools: Doing More with Test Day Records
This webinar series is for dairy producers, herd managers, and their consultants.
The Penn State Dairy Data Analysis Tools are four separate analysis trainings designed to utilize customized online spreadsheets to assess monthly dairy test day records in the following categories:
- Culling
-
Somatic Cell Count
-
Fat-to-Protein Ratio
-
Milk Yield
Participants can select any combination of the above categories and learn how to utilize provided tools to interpret a herd’s monthly data. Analyzing monthly test day records graphically and dynamically may aid in determining which cows or groups of animals are not performing to their optimal potential. Not only will participants learn alternative ways to interpret monthly records, they will also have access to specialized online tools to assist with the interpretation and assessment of monthly records.
Following the sessions, participants who request it will also have access to online one-on-one consulting with the instructor to engage in specific trouble-shooting.
