Feed Management Planner Certification Program

Time: Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Fee:  $30.00 per person. This program is offered in conjunction with the Penn State Dairy Nutrition Conference. Click here for registration information.

Consultants who are interested in Feed Management Planner Certification have an opportunity to prepare for and take the examination in conjunction with the Penn State Nutrition Conference. This workshop is for those who are are not yet certified.

About the program:
The Natural Resources Conservation Service has defined feed management as one of the 6 core elements of a Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plan that will be required of permitted Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations. The Mid-Atlantic Water Program, consisting of Penn State, Virginia Tech, and the University of Maryland, along with NRCS, is preparing the feed industry for its critical role in this process.

This workshop provides a nutritionist the opportunity to become a certified feed management planner/ technical service provider (TSP).  The examination, offered through the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists, will be offered at the conclusion of this workshop at 5:00 p.m.
