This program is intended to proved relevant and quick information for decision-making. It will focus on mastitis prevention and milking management topics. The hope is that by holding 1-hour program at a similar time and place each month, producers can share ideas and questions with each other and with knowledgeable suppliers and consultants.

Date: Wednesday March 26, 2008 Time: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Session #2: Inflation Purchase Decisions — talk with your dealer and look at different inflation options—What liner are you using currently? What is the recommended ‘touch point’ setting? Bring information on your vacuum settings, claw vacuum (if known), shell and claw type. Learn how to calculate liner life. See the various inflations side by side and check out the bore (teat fit) sizes of narrow and medium bore liners. Trainers: Local Milking Equipment Dealers and Suppliers
