Is there much variability that occurs depending on soil types etc.?
Phosphorus content and availability vary with the soil parent
material, texture, and pH as well as management factors such as the
rate of application and tillage practices. Although P is relatively
immobile, it can move, especially where soils have become highly
enriched with P.
