  • Teaching and Education -Responsible for teaching in nutrition for veterinary students: general nutrition and nutrition of different animal species (including dietetics): ruminants, pigs, horses, dogs, cats, and other companion animals (mammals other than dogs and cats, birds, reptiles). -Teaching of selected (veterinary-relavant) aspects of physiology in farm and companion animals for veterinary students: physiology of nutrition, energetics, physiology and pathophysiology of lactation; physiology and pathophysiology of growth; physiology and pathophysiology of neonates; physiology of physical performance; bioclimatology; physiology of adaptation. -Postgraduate educational courses for veterinarians and in part for agricultural engineers and animal scientists on nutrition, growth and lactation (especially cattle) in-and outside Switzerland.
