- Thirty-Seven students in Penn State's Department of Dairy and Animal Science toured a variety of agricultural industries in central Pennsylvania to learn more about possible career options.
- Christopher Raines Joins Department of Dairy and Animal Science Faculty
- Chris Raines, Ph.D., joined the DAS faculty on August 4, as Assistant Professor of Meat Science and Technology.

- William Henning, Ph.D., was recognized by the American Meat Science Association in June for his outstanding contributions to the meat industry.
