This section of the Dairy and Animal Science Web site is a resource listing for producers considering expansion or establishing a new dairy operation. This site lists many of the important, necessary items to be considered to assist you in thinking through the entire process before you begin the project. It lists contact information related to all aspects of planning - including engineering, permitting, building, employee training, neighbor relations and others.

These lists are designed to suggest a logical progression starting with the links related to project planning, followed by financial resources and construction planning. Operational management and control relate to the ongoing implementation and monitoring processes following the expansion. Each section contains lists of service providers and informational links to assist you as you go through the project.
