About the Club
History
The Penn State Stockmen's Club is the oldest alumni organization in Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences. It was started by alumni of the Department of Dairy and Animal Science.Objectives
- To support programs of Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, particularly those dealing with livestock production and livestock products
- To support the development of strong, realistic programs in instruction, research, and extension, in the fields of meat animals, meat products, and horses
- To maintain and develop contact and cooperation among alumni
- To encourage and assist in the coordinated support of the livestock industry

Activities
- Annual winter business meeting held each January during the Pennsylvania Farm Show
- Annual spring dinner-dance held the Friday before Penn State's Little International livestock exposition
- Presentation of a Booster Award to recognize club supporters
- Support for the activities of the Penn State Block and Bridle Club
- Assistance in recruiting prospective students for Penn State
