Animal Science Students with Penn State Pony Herd

Students in Animal Sciences can apply what they learn in the classroom by competing on teams in regional and national competitions.

Team members have the opportunity to meet students with common interests at Penn State and at other universities while traveling around the country to engage in competitions.

At the same time, they can develop good sportsmanship, the ability to make judgments, organize events, and complete complex projects requiring skills that will take them far on the job and in graduate school.
